Q: How does Northeast Criminal Research conduct its searches?
A. Northeast Criminal Research does all its research at the source, the court. We never use databases.

Q: How long does it take to get results?
A. Results returned by the courts vary by county. New Hampshire rules allow the courts up to 10 business days to process requests for public information. Northeast Criminal Research is proactive in its follow up efforts with the court system and will always keep our clients informed and up to date on court delays. Click on the Delays button at the top of this page for a current listing of courts we are experiencing prolonged turnaround times in.

Q: What can I do to speed up my order?
A: It's important that the information provided to Northeast Criminal Research be complete and accurate. Ensure all information is present such as name, date of birth, and all the counties you would like us to research.

Q: Why do reports sometimes take longer than I expect?
A: The New Hampshire court system generally is very responsive to our requests and does its best to meet our needs as quickly as possible. Understandably regular court business takes priority over our requests. More often delays are due to the need to retrieve source files from archive. All New Hampshire courts are clerk searched and we are at their mercy.

Q: How do you report status updates to your clients?
A: Northeast Criminal Research understands the need for timely results and will work diligently to return completed results as soon as possible. However delays in the New Hampshire court system can happen at any time. We will work with our clients to keep them informed by any means the client chooses. Q: Do you carry Errors & Omissions Insurance?
A: Yes, Northeast Criminal Research, LLC carries a three million ($3,000,000) dollar Error & Omissions insurance policy. A certificate is available upon request.
